2020 Honda Pilot Configurations
At Pat Peck Honda, we think the Pilot is a great third-row SUV for drivers in the Gulfport, Long Beach, and Biloxi areas. However, if you decide to drive this vehicle, you'll want to be sure to research each of the 2020 Honda Pilot trim levels. Choosing the right configuration is key to getting the most out of your SUV. The Pilot comes in five different trim levels:
Take a look at each of these trim levels in more detail below with this brief guide.
Honda Pilot LX Trim Level
The first trim level for the 2020 Honda Pilot is the LX. This Honda Pilot trim comes with the standard 3.5L V6 engine, which generates 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. It's also paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. It comes standard with front-wheel drive (FWD), but the Intelligent Variable Torque Management® All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system is available to help enhance traction control.
On the inside, you'll have an information center with a 5-inch color LCD screen in the center stack. This is where you can view information related to the Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink® and streaming audio features. These features allow you to link your smartphone with your car to make hands-free phone calls on the go or stream music from your device through your infotainment system.
The LCD screen can also give you a clearer view of the area behind your vehicle via the multi-angle rearview camera with gridlines.
For added convenience and safety behind the wheel, the Honda Sensing® suite comes standard on all trim levels. This includes the following safety features:
- Collision Mitigation Braking System™
- Road Departure Mitigation System
- Forward Collision Warning
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Auto High-Beam Headlights
2020 Honda Pilot EX
The Hond aPilot EX trim takes everything in the LX and adds in even more convenience features. For instance, you'll have remote engine start, a feature that allows you to get your car started up and cooled down before entering the cabin on a warm summer afternoon.
It also features the Blind Spot Monitoring System with Cross Traffic Monitor, which makes merging much more convenient as it alerts you when another vehicle is in your blind spot.
The infotainment system screen has been upgraded to an 8-inch touchscreen display. In addition to helpful safety information, you can also use this interface to utilize Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ smartphone integration–which come standard on this trim.
Pilot EX-L Trim Level
In addition to everything in the EX trim, the EX-L adds in a power moonroof that can fill your cabin with fresh air and natural light. You'll also enjoy a few more premium interior features, such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel and leather-trimmed interior materials.
Touring Trim Level of the 2020 Pilot
The Touring trim level of the 2020 Honda Pilot adds in a few more sporty features to include a 9-speed automatic transmission with Shift-By-Wire. It also includes steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters that allow you to change gears on command without removing your hands from the wheel.
This trim level also adds roof rails to the exterior that allow you to bring along kayaks, bikes, or anything else you might not want to carry in the cargo area.
Inside, you'll have integrated navigation with the Honda Satellite-Link Navigation System™. The voice recognition feature lets you input your destination while keeping your hands on the steering wheel, too.
Honda Pilot Elite
The 2020 Honda Pilot Elite trim level is the first trim level to come standard with the enhanced traction control of AWD. To help you tackle inclement weather, you'll also have rain-sensing windshield wipers. These wipers automatically turn on and adjust their speed based on the rate of precipitation on the windshield.
The Elite trim continues to improve driver comfort by including perforated ventilated front-row seats.
