2020 Honda Civic Coupe Design

Honda Civic Coupe Style

What’s most evident about the Civic coupe is the exterior design. It’s a 2-door model with a fastback roofline that gives it a stylish look and a sporty vibe. Plus, it has those C-shaped taillights that let everyone know you mean business.

With the 2020 model, you get an even more bold, aggressive face and sharper bodylines that improve aerodynamics. They also create a sinewy, muscular look that’s sure to turn heads as you drive through town. The long wheelbase accentuates the sleek profile and creates a sense of motion, even when standing still.

Civic Coupe Efficiency and Sporty Powertrain

One of our favorite things about the 2020 Honda Civic Coupe is how effortlessly it balances sportiness and efficiency.

It gets an EPA-estimated maximum fuel economy of 31 MPG city and 40 MPG highway with the EX trim, while sporting a 174-horsepower, turbocharged engine.1

This engine also produces 162 lb-ft of torque. A 158-horsepower I-4 engine is available for select trim levels, as well.

The key to its mileage is in the transmission. All four trim levels come with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that optimizes shift schedules for maximum performance and efficiency. Certain trim levels also equip the CVT with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters that let you take control of your shift points when the mood strikes.

If you want complete command over your drive, the Sport trim level comes standard with a 6-speed manual transmission. It decreases your fuel economy a smidge but gives you that extra-sporty edge many drivers of the Civic coupe are looking for.

Dimensions Inside the Cabin

Honda Civic Coupe for Sale

The interior of the Honda Civic coupe is built with a great blend of comfort and utility. The longer wheelbase of this model gives you plenty of space inside the cabin, whether you’re seated behind the wheel or relaxing in the back.

It’s a 2-row coupe, with room for five passengers in total, including the driver, and has the following interior dimensions:

  • Passenger volume: Up to 91 cubic feet
  • Headroom (front/rear):2/34.6 inches
  • Legroom (front/rear):3/35.9 inches

As you can see, both front- and rear-seat passengers can stretch their legs with 42.3 or 35.9 inches of legroom, respectively.

Plus, if you need to bring clubs to the golf course or transport groceries home from the store, you’ll have the room for that in the 12.1-cubic-foot trunk. That’s impressive cargo volume for a coupe!
